What's New In Appraisal Scribe: enhanced collection management capabilities and new format option for comparable properties

We appreciate receiving feedback from our subscribers, and our latest features are inspired by your suggestions for collections management and formatting of comparable properties.

More ways to sort your collection in Appraisal Scribe

1. You now have the option to sort your collection manually or alphabetically by artist name, location, type of object, subject matter, or title.

Visit the Collection tab and click on Collection Sort.

  • In the dropdown menu, choose Manual Sort to arrange properties by dragging and dropping.

  • Automatically sort your properties by selecting from the dropdown menu: Alphabetically By Artist/Maker, Type of Object, Location, Subject matter, or Title

2. New option for displaying comparable properties

You can now display your comparable properties as a list. In your appraisal, navigate to the Appraisal Settings tab and choose from the drop-down menu under Comparable Caption Format:

  • Select Captions to the Right: the sales information will appear to the right of the image, forming a list.

  • Select Captions Below (original format): the sales information will appear below the image. If you prefer to itemize your comparable properties' sales information in the Market Analysis, you can use the caption to identify the image.
